Waynetown - Mrs. Mildred Quillin, 72, Waynetown died at 5:20 a.m. today in Culver Hospital. She had been a patient since Feb 21 after suffering a fractured hip. Mrs. Quillin was employed at J.T. Detchon's Telephone Co. prior to her marriage. She was a 50 year member of Waynetown Christian Church and Waynetown Order of Eastern Star. She was a charter member of the Pi Mu ? Research Club and member of Waynetown American Legion Auxiliary, Dorothy Q Chapter DAR, Circle P of WCF ? and Crawfordsville Daughters of American Colonists. She was a 1918 gradaute from Waynetown HS. She was born Aug 5, 1900 at Waynetown a daughter of Charles and Mayme Zook Krug. She married Walter L. Quillin March 17, 1923. They had planned to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at the hospital tonight. Surviving with the husband are two sons, Richard Quillin of Indianapolis and Robert Quillin a teacher at huntington W VA, two sisters, Mrs. Helen Riley of Berwan ? Ill and Miss June Krug of Crawfordsville, two granddaughters, Mary Beth and SHaron M. Quillin and two nieces. She was preceded in death by a son Donald and brother Harry "Dick" Krug. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Waynetown Christian Church with Rev Paul Dunham officiating. Burial in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the Servies-Thomas Funeral Home at Waynetown after 3 p.m. Sunday. --kbz
